ABOUT THE ARTIST
I’m a London-based artist with over a decade of experience, known for creating evocative, whimsical paintings that explore grief, healing, and the human experience. My work has been exhibited in prestigious events across London, Miami, and Hong Kong, and I’m proud to have built a global collector base drawn to the emotional honesty in my art.
For me, nothing provokes artistic sensibility quite like grief. Many of us don’t truly understand the reality of loss until it arrives at our doorstep. Throughout history, artists have turned to their craft to process anger, confusion, fear, sadness, hope, and love. I began painting as a way to confront the loss of my daughter—a way to give form to pain and begin my healing process.
My work traces the journey from darkness into light. I’m fascinated by the interplay between shadow and brightness, and I embrace the beauty that exists on both sides. Using symbolism and pop culture references, I primarily create mixed media pieces on upcycled materials, combining traditional oil painting, ceramics, charcoal, and even children’s book illustration.
At the heart of everything I make is the belief that while art cannot mend the holes left in our hearts, it can help us understand them.
